tombstones – Frugal Fitz Designs

I will call this "Death At The Disco"! This look was inspired by Stephanie Hanna on Instagram. I'm not really into the whole gore type of decorations so this was perfect for my style! To make this look I painted foam tombstones, baby's breath flowers and added the cutest disco balls, butterflies, and a skeleton to complete "my graveyard"! I've seen so many people decorate with the disco balls and I think it's such a cute touch. A few helpful tips would be to make sure you have a good paint brush that applies the paint evenly and reduces streaking, I used 2 different sizes of paint brushes to get into the grooves. I went for a neutral color theme. I was able to find colors that I liked for 3 of the 4, but for the last tombstone I had to take more of a saturated color (Melted Chocolate) and add white to tone it down to the color that I wanted. The colors that I used were: Melted Chocolate + White Light PeachAntique WhiteToffee Spray Painting Flowers I used real Babys Breath flowers that I found at Costco. I looked at using fake ones, but none of them looked cute to me! I used about 4 different colors of spray paint. I went ahead and separated the bouquet of flowers into even sections to have enough for my 4 colors. I left some out so I could just have white ones as well. Take the section of flowers and get close enough and start spraying them. I used a cardboard box underneath to spray. Lay them down and let them dry before bringing them inside. I put mine on my front entryway table. I started with placing the tombstones so that they're propped up against the wall. Next I added the disco balls sporadically and added my skeleton on top of the bigger disco ball. Once I had that all placed how I liked it I then added the painted baby's breath all over. I cut them up and placed different colors side by side to break it up a bit. The final touches were adding the cute butterflies throughout the display. I think it turned out super cute and I'm obsessed with it! Let me know if you try this!
